Setting Small Icon On Vista Start Menu

You can make the start menu icons small as it is set to large icons by default.

making the icons small could be helpful if you plan to to pin more programs to start menu.

To use or try the small icon follow the steps below.

Right click on start and select properties>>> Click customize.

Then scroll down and uncheck the "Use Large Icons"

Click ok and ok again.

Your start menu icons will now look like this (see picture below)
